Get a hat ! I went to Annapolis, Maryland on Saturday and discovered a hat store. I felt like I was in a shoe store (for those of us that are girls will understand)! As I tried on hats with different shapes, sizes and fabrics, each hat gives you a completely different look. What a great way to be different.

I love hats and find myself wearing it quite often in the winter, mainly for cold. The only thing I don’t like about hats is the hat hair after you take the hat off.

Here is the hat that I have in brown and ware it all the time in the winter. I am searching for a stylish hat for the Spring, something that I can throw on my head if I don’t feel like putting make up on or if I just want to be different. I am thinking of a hat that goes great with blue jeans and a t-shirt, or a cute little sun dress.

As we are heading toward Spring, why not update your look with a fresh look! Here are some ‘Tiptoids’:

1.       Splash your face with some color, and I don’t mean tan. Try changing the color pallet of your make up. You can use color eyeliners for a more spunky look. For example, I like to add light green eyeliner under my eyes for more of a Spring look. You can also chose blush that have more pink tone. For your lips, stay on the natural side. I prefer to use lipgloss. There are tons you can choose from. Nothing says kiss me better than a soft, shiny looking lips!

2.      Update your wardrobe with some bright colors. Be sure to stay within the color that looks good on you. As I have olive skin tone, I look good in yellow and hot pink

3.      Do you need an excuse to buy a purse or new shoes? I suggest a Easter colored purse for a statement that says, ‘Look at me! I am not afraid of expressing myself.’

4.      It’s time to get a haircut. If you really want to change your look, try a totally new do. The good thing is that your hair will always grow back.  I just did it! I chopped 3 inches off my hair. I had long beautiful hair, but 10 years of same hair is becoming long and stale look.  I love my new haircut. It’s different from my old look, a nice change. Changes are always good.

Here is a link from Oprah.com that about matching haircuts to your face. http://www2.oprah.com/beauty/hair/beauty_hair_200612_tuck.jhtml
